We do not collect or store any other personally identifiable information unless explicitly provided by you (e.g., for customer support).

To improve app performance and user experience, we may collect non-personal information such as:

  • Device type and operating system

  • App version

  • Crash logs and diagnostic data

This data is collected via third-party tools such as Firebase Crashlytics.

c) Search Subscriptions

Your saved search subscriptions are stored only in our secure cloud database, tied to your account. These subscriptions are used solely to provide personalized eBay deal alerts and are not shared with third parties.

d) Push Notifications

To deliver instant deal alerts, the App uses push notification services (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging). These services require a unique device token, which is anonymized and not linked to your personal identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate your account and manage logins

  • Deliver real-time deal alerts based on your saved searches

  • Improve app stability and performance

  • Communicate with you regarding support or app updates (if requested)

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with advertisers or external marketers.

However, we may share non-personal data with trusted service providers strictly to:

  • Send push notifications

  • Monitor app performance and fix bugs

These services are bound by confidentiality agreements and may not use your data for any other purpose.

4. Data Retention

We retain your email and search subscriptions for as long as your account is active. You may delete your subscriptions at any time through the app. If you delete your account or uninstall the app, your stored data may be removed in accordance with our data retention policy.

We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

6. Children's Privacy

Deals Tracker is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
